Hot Shots: Trial Dates Albany Aug 25th and Sept 1st 2024

Basketball WA’s U12 Hotshots Regional program is the largest and most inclusive development program for junior basketball in Western Australia and is the first introduction into the Basketball WA High Performance Pathway. The goal is to bring athletes in the Under 12 age (Born 2013 & 2014) from Albany together.

From each skill session, athletes from each region selected athletes will be invited to attend the Hotshots Jamboree. The Jamboree encourages competition from athletes around the state and allows athletes to experience a competitive environment whilst learning the fundamentals of the game of basketball in a fun and encouraging space.

The Jamboree camp will expand on the content explored in the Hotshot Skill Sessions. Athletes will be placed in a team and assigned a camp coach for the weekend, they will play multiple games across the weekend, and be encouraged to put their newfound skills into action.
